If you have time, you can even take a slow ferry from the town of Como to Bellagio which takes about 2 hours, making stops along the way, and offering excellent views of the lake. A day pass for the ferries costs €15. One way tickets are also available and cost €4.60 on up, depending on where you are traveling to/from.

In 2000, Star Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones was filmed in part at the Villa del Balbianello, which juts out dramatically into the lake. (More recently, Casino Royale was shot there as well.)
